The Oregon Wine Awards is the largest and most comprehensive independent Oregon wine recognition program in the world. Founded in 2008 by Executive Director and Court of Masters Sommelier Christopher Chan, the Oregon Wine Awards establishes the highest standards of integrity in the tasting and evaluation of Oregon wines. Award-winning wines are now posted for the 3rd Annual Oregon Wine Awards, which took place March 19-20, 2011, at Portland's historic Waverley Country Club and featured ten of the state's most experienced and respected wine professionals evaluating wines from all of Oregon's Viticultural Areas.
